Give people the Greatest Gift
of all this Christmas
… Jesus!
Christmas Gatherings are in-home social gatherings that are held during the Christmas season by women and married couples worldwide to introduce lost and un-churched people (neighbors, co-workers, and others), to the real reason for the season – Jesus Christ, in a fun, non-threatening way. With more than three million people in South Carolina who are lost or un-churched, you can make a difference in the lives of many through the Christmas Gatherings evangelism tool.
The essence of the ministry of Christmas Gatherings is found in 1 Thessalonians 2:8:
“We cared so much for you that we were pleased to share with you not only the gospel of God
but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us.” Holman CSB
Benefits of hosting a Christmas Gathering:
- Uses the holiday season to present the good news of Jesus Christ.
- Uses the home as a non-threatening environment to honor God.
- Builds relationships with others.
- Counteracts the trend of isolation – many people are never invited into someone’s home and they are honored to be included.
- Requires only two people to initiate – host and speaker.
- You experience the joy of trusting God.
